What's the one piece of advice you'd give to a mum returning to work?
One of the mums in my community reached out last week, feeling torn about returning to work this week.
On the one hand, sheโs excited. Sheโs eager to be part of a team again, to have real adult conversations (that arenโt about how much sleep youโre having and donโt take place at soft play), and desperate to see her pre-maternity leave salary back in the bank.
But on the other hand? Sheโs anxious, apprehensive, and feeling mum guilt about โabandoningโ her baby at a nursery. Her word, not mine.

I could feel the conflict and uncertainty in her message. She doesnโt know how sheโll manage it all.
So, let me ask you: Whatโs the one piece of advice youโd give to a mum about going back to work after having a baby?
Please take a moment to comment because you donโt know who needs to hear your wisdom today.
