When I think of camping, I don’t immediately think, “That’s something I’d like to do.” 😂

But just looking at your photos and reading your article, I can see the potential: the simplicity, spending time together, and being more in touch with nature.

I had a slightly similar experience once. We stayed on a small island where cars aren’t allowed, and we hiked for hours just to reach the other side. We stopped at every beach along the way to cool down and rest, then kept going. We took a boat back because that’s how transportation works there.

My son was 7 at the time. He exceeded our expectations of what a young child can do.

It was, by far, our best trip ever.

The quiet, the nature, not having cars around, no time for phones, walking for hours, waking up early. It made us feel strong and physically comfortable.

So I can absolutely relate to everything you wrote here. ❤️
