I am dreading it and in truth I will still be using preschool until the funding runs out mid august for my 4 yr old. I’ll be paying for holiday clubs for my eldest (6). But my kids fight, there are too many big emotions and I find it really hard even with childcare. You are right though, it starts with us. They are 1000 times harder when I haven’t looked after myself. We’ve got this!

There is so much pressure, it's expected that we should be looking forward to it as much as we did when we were teenagers but my whole family love routine and it feels like we're freefalling without it. Don't even get me started on the fights. I think every one of my kids has war wounds already.

Ah Leila, it sounds so intense. Sending solidarity, as that's all I can do. I don't have any advice other than comparison really is the thief of joy. Would love to catch up, if it helps to vent on google meet during the hols (once everyone is in bed...), or if that's just something else to think about it, let's do it as soon as childcare resumes in September.

Also, I loved this, so well written and amusing despite me feeling your pain!

Thank you, it is intense. Things are so bad, I'm actually attempting to take them swimming tomorrow - the single most stressful thing you can do with triplets (bar taking them on holiday). If you're around for an evening catch up let me know, if not we'll do September. Love your energy on here x

Oh wow, in a ‘it can’t get any worse way?’ hope it goes ok! YES! I can do most evenings from about 8.45!
